I have a patient who is scheduled for a living donor kidney transplant this

Friday. I just saw he started hemodialysis about a month ago. Should his

dialysis social worker sign him up for Medicare ASAP, or should I wait until day

of transplant to do it myself? I'm thinking he should be signed up now.
