An N.M.D. is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor. They are licensed to

practice medicine. My NMD had a degree in biology plus 5 years of

medical school from the local, accredited Naturopathic College.

Here's a link: http://www.naturopathic.org/

Since Couric has not told her to believe in it, my nada thinks

it is voodoo and will kill me. It is not. Be sure your N.M.D.

graduated from an accredited college.

I have endometriosis, which is pretty much untreatable from an OBGYN

standpoint. I was diagnosed 8 years ago as being in stage 3 out of 4

and was in horrible pain every month during my cycle. I've been

seeing a chiropractor for Network Spinal Analysis work for 6 months,

and I've been NC for 4. My pain has disappeared almost entirely. Not

sure how much is the NC and how much is the NSA. You could check into

NSA as well, as it is supposed to help with ANY pain problems by

helping the patient to let go of trauma.

I know conditions like fibro can't really be helped through an MD, but

these other outlets might really help you if you are able to acquire

them. My NMD even gave me a discount. My chiro is covered by

insurance. NMD's are not usually covered by insurance, unless you

live somewhere really progressive.

I hope you can find some help for your condition. I really can't know

how bad it must be for you.
