Guest guest
My theropist said I was lucky to come out fixable, basically. I asked her my diagnosis and she said Anxity Disorder and mild depression. She said when someone survives a horrible childhood they will have side effects of somekind all thier lifes. She said it will most likely lessen in time, but certain things will trigger it. I may always need to be on an anti-depressive/anxiety medicine or she said as I go through theropy and learn what triggers these episodes I can try to avoid the triggers. She also said regular exercise, a healthy diet, maybe meditation or yoga will help. Anyone with anxiety might want to know that eating refined carbs or sugar can help to trigger anxiety, because of the effects of the blood sugar. I am going to try and stay away from that stuff. Eat stuff like oatmeal, whole wheat bread and brown rice. Not white breads, white rice, white pastas, sugary goodies or too much salt. I want to maybe one day be able to get off the zoloft. Emotionally that stuff works great, but I have had a hard time losing weight on that stuff and I would like to be as healthy as possible without medicine. Will see. Guest guest
I agree 110% diet is so vital to how you feel emotianaly as well as physically. I was on anti depresiants for a while to deal with my depression as well.I was abel to get off the anti depressiants eventualy but who knows maybe I will need them again someday. It seems between diet, cardio, relaxation, staying n/c and of course God I am able to somewhat keep a peace of mind. But I can't stress enough diet really does help. I know it sounds silly, But I started to eat right when I left home and it took 4 years but I am now in my target wieght and I feel better than ever(I went from a 14 to a 6). My whole family did it together grandparents who always did it aunts husbands and we teach our children. Non of our family is overweight and we are all pretty much healthy aside from my grandma who has breast cancer. But I can see even in the children on days when they have treats a diffrence in their behavior or days I eat badly I dont feel so upbeat. truly diet can change you even if it takes years like it did for me but now I would never go back to my old ways. Good luck with your health foods! more power to you! Lizzy > > My theropist said I was lucky to come out fixable, basically.
