Guest guest
I totally understand and agree with you! I just couldn't tolerate increases & knew I needed to investigate & treat adrenals first. I only added Synthroid as a temporary measure. On Armour only, I have midrange T3 with T4 at around 2% and this gives me *horrible* symptoms. As soon as I get my Armour up higher, and help the T3 get used up by supporting adrenals, I plan to drop the Synthroid completely. My understanding is that when I'm less hypo, the overconversion will stop happening and my T4 will come up on it's own, correct? I'm having a stim test done hopefully soon, so I know I should wait until that's done before adding HC. Question is, after that should I start with 5mg of HC for a couple of weeks before increasing Armour or go ahead and increase Armour now? And how do you tell the difference between hyper from an Armour increase and possibly having too much Cortisol? Thanks!
