Holy Smokes! Almost forgot to tell ya

Hey I drove into San Francisco yesturday to get my first batch of

handme downs since surgery! What a wonderful gift! A woman who is

one of Dr Rabkin's angels (not a surgical patient but donates her

time to shuttle people back and forth from the airport, and help out

those of use who have had surgery as a GIFT in life) had a coworker

who needed to find a home for her size 4-8 work clothes. After a

post on the other board Im on about having never gotten any

handmedowns and being in need of some size 8s...she got ahold of

this woman and got me two bags full of work clothes! WOW!!

The lady who donated was obviously petite ..two of the jackets were

about 3 inches too short in the sleeves and I had to let down the

hem in the legs some (I am built like an orangatang..all arms and

legs LOL) but I slipped into my first size 6s EVER! I am nearly

faint from shock still. All the 8s fit, several of the 6s..we won't

talk about how small the 4s were LOL But the quality of these

items..this chick must have had bucks! All the suits are lined,

slacks are also lined..Ann s, Evan Piccones etc. What a

wonderful Christmas present. POWER SUITS! And damn I feel very sexy

and powerful in them LOL I could be a manager in them! lol I wish my

fiance was in town...I think I might throw him down and plant one on

him (or two or three or more..probably more LOL)! hahaha

Holy smokies is right! How cool is that? I give my clothes away and

the ladies who benefit always tell me that they don't need to go

shopping...they just wait till I lose another couple of sizes!
