She called me wanting to switch to a United Health Care Secure Horizons Medicare Advantage Plan. Our surgeons are affiliated with SIU School of Medicine and our nephrologist is affiliated with Springfield Clinic. I know for sure Springfield Clinic does not accept United Health Care. I'm still waiting to hear back from SIU. Our hospital does not accept this Medicare Advantage Plan. Although spot deals can possibly be arranged, would anyone else suggest to this patient to stick with Original Medicare and Medicaid? Or would I be wrong for suggesting that? Guest guest
Ditto. I would explain to the patient that there are many disadvantages with him switching and he would have 100% coverage for his immunes and you are not contracted with this plan. I would put it right out on the table. Hogan Transplant Financial Coordinator Lahey Clinic 41 Mall Rd.
