Guest guest
My joints are starting to ache something awful ... this has been a hypo sign in the past ... however now I'm dealing with adrenal issues too. A complicating thought - whenever I've been on prednisone (for my asthma that I don't have any more!!) my joints have almost frozen up they hurt so bad. Any way I can tell wether I need to raise my amour, increase or decrease my HC? I'm at 4.75 grains and 20mg HC. Any ideas? Kirsty P.S. Yet again the main board is not accessible .... :::: sigh ::::
Guest guest
It is odd that your joints have hurt on Pred. Is it after you come off it or while you are actually using it? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
While using it. my oldest had the same reaction - he was on pred. for systemic poison oak & could hardly walk after a couple of days. he felt so much better once off the pred. I dont know if it's an hc thing or more hypo symptoms rearing their ugly head again! kirsty > > It is odd that your joints have hurt on Pred. Guest guest
Prednisone actually makes my joints hurt, especially my hips. As well as being hypo can so the smae. I have been on very high doses to help me with my Thyroid Eye Disease (TED) due to compression on the optic nerve. There have been times, when I was on a higher dose that I could not lift my feet off the floor, had to use a walker and skate across the floor it hurt so bad. It also hits my shoulders and upper arms bad also. I am down from 80 mg a day to 30 mg a day. I had gotten to 15 and 10 a day, alternating each day but the drop was too fast and sent me into a crisis mode, so I am back to 20 in the morning and 10 in the evening, getting ready to drop the evening dose to5 mg starting today.
