Guest guest
Today I went to see the doctor whose name I had gotten from the acam.org website (recommend by ~thanks!). I was pleasantly surprised. After listening to my story, looking at the information I had brought with me (canary club reports, blood labs, temp chart), he said that he wanted to redo my saliva as he felt that my Progesterone level (that had been tremendously HIGH) could well be hiding adrenal issues, and since I had stopped the cream six weeks ago, I could redo that saliva test at my next 19-20-21day of my cycle (this coming Monday). He also indicated that what the Canary Club tests for testosterone in women (Free testosterone) was not what is usually checked. He tests Total Test in women and Free Test in men. Again, he felt that the abnormal high Progesterone I had (due to using Progest cream) could have effected the testosterone level. So we're checking that again. He asked all of the right questions, listened well, and said that he was inclined to put me on Armour because my tests indicated that my thyroid was low; but that he wants to double check the cortisol levels first so that he can support my adrenals if they need to be. All in all, I felt he responded well and I'm happy with the outcome. My next appt with him is 4/24 as they will have the results back from the saliva testing by then. I'll keep you updated. best,AdriaGreen Mountain Curlies, Inc.~~~http://greenmountaincurlies.official.ws/GMC Blog~~~http://greenmountaincurlies.blogspot.com If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.
