onto her during the dinner? Hottie is out on the town!

As for guys and dating. I finally took the dive. I was on my first

official date as a post op last night. He is one year older than me.

Morgage broker and other sideline jobs. He told me he would be in my

area mid afternoon and did not show till later in the evening. For a

while I began to wonder if he stood me up. But he showed and I went and

met him. We both seemed to like one another- so only time will tell. I

definately enjoyed his company. Funny thing is we both remembered

talking to each other on AOL years ago and he wanted to meet me then and

for some reason I put him off and just ignored his offer. Before

Thanksgiving he messaged me again asking me about WLS for a friend of

his's wife. I remembered the name- even though he uses Yahoo now too.

SO we will see how this pans out.

...it's funny you said that cause when my SIL was trying to take

my picture...one of the waiters (and yes he was CUTE) decided he

needed to have his picture taken with ME! LOL

Actually dinner was nice. I was overdressed--my stepmother loved it

though--she said she has never seen me this way (and she hasn't) but

loved it because I felt GOOD. My parents took us to Landry's, which

has FABULOUS seafood! I was in heaven! I had mahi mahi that was

topped with crab, scallops, shrimp and mushrooms...had 1/2 of it and

was through! It was nice--my stepbrother and his wife are being silly

as usual, but I was in charge of my niece Nicaylia. She makes me wish

I had children--and that's the only time I do is when I'm with her.

She looked like a little princess--literally! I'm glad I remembered

my camera because I am going to get the picture of her framed for my

dad and stepmom as a Christmas gift. My stepmother even wants one of

ME! She said, and I quote, " I've never seen your legs looking that

good! " LOL--I had on 3inch heels and super sheer pantyhose!

And good for YOU! I'm glad you took the plunge and met this guy.

Especially when you both realized that you've talked before! I'm

proud of ya sister girl! Maybe...who knows?!!

I'm confused...

He contacted you regarding WLS for a friend of his wife's? And you went out on

an official date with him? And they talk about California being open....am I

missing something here?

No, not 's wife. A friend of his has a wife that is considering the

surgery. is friends with both the husband and wife. lol Guess it

was hard to word that right the first time. But after meeting with him-

I wonder if he just was scanning profiles looking for someone in Pa and

when he saw my pic he thought he knew me from before and used the

" wanting information about WLS " as a conversation starter because of it

being on my profile with my pic? I used to have long hair and a

different color- so perhaps he was just not sure. I would guess it's

been several years since we talked on aol. He might have been in the

process of divorce when he first talked to me. He sure remembered a lot

about me for the amount of time that passed since we spoke last. I just

remembered the nickname when I saw it. When I clicked his home page

link for his AOL page then I was sure I talked to him before. He

updated his Yahoo profile after he first messaged me and added that link

in. I know it was not there the day he sent the first message because I

always look at the profile before I respond back to them.
