Guest guest
Can someone please explain to me a situation I just came across. I have a patient who has Medicare and when I was finally able to locate his coverage it was a totally different ID# then the one he gave us. I am guessing with there being the letter B at the end that he has his benefits through his spouse? He also has a Y after the B… I have never seen a Medicare # with two letters. Anyone know what this means?
