Guest guest
What plastic surgeons don't tell women is that breast implants may not make them look " normal " after cancer surgery. It's possible that they've done the best they can, given the tissue you have to work with. However, if you are experiencing complications from the implants, you need to find a doctor who understands the problem and can help you. We have a list of knowledgable surgeons in our archives. Hopefully you can find one near you. You should know that cancer patients are not good candidates for breast implants . . . Complications run about 45% in the first few years. In part, this is because their immune system is supressed by chemo or radiation. It's shameful that doctors aren't being straight with the facts! None of my friends who have had breast cancer have chosen to get implants. All of them are healthy and happy! . . . None of them bother to hide the fact they aren't " balanced " . One even opted to have the second breast removed so she could quit worrying about getting cancer. She wears form-fitting tops all the time. What she's learned is that nobody cares - including her husband! I hope you can find an understanding doctor who can help you if there's something that can be done. . . or to put your mind at ease. Hugs and prayers, Rogene

Guest guest
Hello Di If I can help you with your project, contact me. I must warn you though, that I am in Australia, so if they want the results to be US oriented, it would rule me out. Guest guest
Can anyone tell me what the cause of acidosis is. I think I have it. I will sense an acidy feeling which will go away an hour or two later if I take a teaspoon of bicabonate of soda. But it's got to a stage where I am now having to do this three times a day. If I don't take it, I get pains throughout my body and there's a sort of an acidy pain if that makes any sense. I have significant malabsorption problems though I take digestion pills three times a day and heaps of extra vitamins. Is there any particular vitamin or mineral deficiency associated with acidosis? I have a large tumour which doctors now think is likely to be benign, and I am being given 8 weeks to try to shrink it using fibroid medication (unfortunately, I ordered it 19 days ago and it hasnt arrived yet - so I ordered some more today) Many thanks Helen Duncan Crow <duncancrow@...> wrote: Inulin will probably give you gas at first, the amount depending on unique ecology in your bowel.
