Guest guest
I started menopause when I was in my moldy house. I was 47 so I guess it was time for it any way. I am 50 now and think I am over it. In many ways and emotionally, I feel so much better without all of those crazy hormones reeking havoc on my body and emotions! > > > > > > > > I am on zoloft, klonopin, Geodon and some xanax at times > > > > Janet > > > > > > > > > > > > ************************************** > > > > See what's free at > > > > http://www.aol.com. > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Hi Barb, Trazadone made me sleep around the clock following hospitalization and depression from a car accident. Is there anyone like a hospital psychologist working with her to talk out her thoughts and feelings in confidence? Has anyone recommended a therapist when she comes home? And what about a support group for this issue? Since the suicidal issue is #1, I would talk to all the docs about coming home. Maybe a day off - like out for something happy, a funny movie and cool place for lunch to start. Back to the hospital later? Ask the docs. We used to have this kind of program when I worked in rehab. Guest guest
Gretchen, She was seeing a therapist when we found out she was 'cutting'. Unfortunately she is only seeing a Counselor there once a day mon-fri. They don't allow them to leave at all until they are discharged. Guest guest
Barb, As I have said many time before.....as for me I have a awful time with meds ,even over the counter! Antihistamines make me very depressed for example.......and many antidepressant can make one suicidal but I sure you know that. With me many meds work just the what they are not intended to do. ..... Guest guest
I pulled her out of the hosp today. Took her off cymbalta. After doing more research and talking to her more it sounds more like bipolar. She told me that she has these periods of extreme energy and is in an abnormally Extreme good mood. She is going into a day outpatient program on thurs so im hoping to see a better psychiatrist there. Barb
Guest guest
Hello Barb, I was going to suggest something like this after reading a few of your last posts. I will keep you and your daughter in my prayers and believe she will be helped with a different doctor and setting. All the best, Gretchen
