Where is the just in justice?

Where is the justice in this world?!! My dad was convicted for one of nada's

bogus contempt charges and now faces jail time and a fine if he screws up again.

Not to mention probation. The allegation? Removing her from one of his credit

cards about 6 months before the divorce started. Apparently the credit card

company authorized a charge after she was taken off, but since my dad didn't

have the name of the person who removed nada they wouldn't do anything to change

the charge but re-removed her from the account. Since this re-removal happened

after the divorce had started he was technically at fault! The silver lining is

that all the other 14 allegations were tossed out more or less because they were

stupid.

Nada expected the penalty fine to go to her, which wasn't going to happen.

When she learned that she'd just spent 8 hours arguing her allegations and was

not going to get a dime she was so angry! The judge asked what she would have

the sentence be, she went all " noble " and said that she didn't want him to pay a

fine b/c if it wasn't going to her she didn't want one and she didn't want him

to go to jail b/c she knows how awful that is. (she spent a day in jail about 18

months ago) I thought that she really wanted to see my dad punished, but all she

really wanted was money. Now my dad is facing a sentence that shouldn't have

even happened! She wasn't even satisfied with the ruling!

At one point she was wailing about how she can't go on with this hearing b/c

it's killing her! She cried probably half the day, on and off. At the lunch

break after the judge had left she started in on my dad about how he's killing

her by making her do all this. Nevermind that she filed the damn thing and

insisted on having the judge hear it instead of accepting a settlement. She

almost went into full nada mode except that the judge kep giving her recesses to

calm down! AARGH! I wanted her to keep going and show everyone there what my

family has been subjected to and that her actions in nada mode are not as

innocent as she says. No one seems to believe us when we explain her behavoir to

them. It's just something you have to see to believe I guess.

It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion and my dad was the casualty!

It was a hugely disappointing day!!!
