under Section 260.3 of the Medicare National Coverage Determination Manual.

Chapter 1, Part 4. There are

criteria for Medicare to cover Pancreas Transplantation alone.

They, Medicare, cover pancreas alone. It just doesnot

give the patient access to Medicare. If you have Medicare it is covered

but will not qualify you, like renal

transplant, for Medicare.
