Guest guest
They make no apology for the PRO implant site. They have TOLD me they do NOT want anything negative about implants on that site. They get PAID for promoting breast implants by plastic surgeons who advertise there. > > OK, so I occasionally read the pro-implant sites just to see if > anyone has any questions about explant, or if I can direct anyone > who's having problems somewhere else. Guest guest
Hi Sis, I know what you mean . . . They have people whose job it is to shoot down any negative comments about breast implants . . . They are the ones who make the trouble should someone they think is negative shows up. For a time, some implants had a polyurethane foam covering. The idea was that the woman's tissues would grow into the foam instead of making a hard capsule. . .. . Unfortunately, there wasn't adequate testing. By the time they realised that the foam was literally disolving into the woman - along with chemicals known to cause cancer - many women already had them. Our Lea is one of them. These women do tend to be sicker than most. Cancer is only one of the problem - not necessarily brain cancer though. Many have been diagnosed with MGUS - a precusor to multiple myeloma - a particularly deadly cancer. They have found that the rate of brain cancer among women with breast implants is about three times of that of other plastic surgery patients. I don't know if they isolated which type of implant the women had. .. . Suicide rate is almost four times that of other plastic surgery patients. . . Ever wonder why? . . . Couldn't be the treatment we receive from doctors who deny that we are sick, could it ? I hope you'll keep going to those sites! . . . But be careful! . . . They have messed up my computer more than once! They talked my ISP into canceling my service because I sent an " unsolicited " email to someone who said she was having problems with her implants! . . . Last April, I received a message saying they were conducting a poll on whether or not breast implants should be approved . . . I feel for it . . . When I went there, they managed to delete a critical file from my computer! I've been thrilled to watch your progress! . . . Keep working on getting better! You'll get there - one step at a time! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
