Cosima, when it comes to medication, I wouldn't be surprised when it

comes to side effects that might not be listed. Diflucan messes up

my hormones, but yet the doctor insisted this wasn't a side effect.

I think all our bodies are different and there's no way to know how

each of us might react to them, especially if our immune systems are

already in overdrive. How many more days do you have on these

meds? I'm very sensitive to medication as well, and it seems we've

got some other things in common, endometriosis and obviously implant

sickness. I took Keflex after my implant surgery and my tailbone

hurt, too, but I wasn't sure what was causing that, and it's since

gone away.

Cosmia,

It's extremely unlikely that any of these side effects

will stay with you permanently. . . While they are

scary right now, they are just symptoms. You won't be

on this medication much longer, and your implants will

be out soon . . . The symptoms should disappear in

time.

I don't think Dr. Kolb would think badly of you, or

postpone your surgery if you told her just what you

said here. Please tell her how you're feeling. She may

be able to suggest something that will help that won't

cost more!

As hard as it may seem, please try to relax and pamper

yourself rather than worrying about everything. Your

anxiety is normal . . . many women experience it! . .

.. It won't be long before you are doing much better!

actually, i got up today and noticed for the first time since

starting the meds that my chest wasn't hurting so much and my

tailbone has eased off just a little too.at least i see a little

light at the end of the tunnel. i got some of those monistat

suppositories yesterday too.sometimes it's just hard to tell what is

due to the actual problem and what is due to the meds.what is

something to worry about and what isn't. afterall, this is how i got

in this fine mess in the first place, besides getting the implants

put in that is. i had slight annoying discomfort in my chest and

other symptoms that i ignored and blamed on stress,etc. until i was

hardly able to walk on my own by the time i got to dr. kolb's office.

i just didn't want to make that same mistake again and end up worse

off because of it so i'm more cautious right now.thanks, y'all for

putting up with me. i'm not usually like this. i went right back into

my college classes a week and a half after my 5 hour hysterectomy

with complications and blood transfusion and would've gone back even

a few days sooner but i had developed hives for some reason the day

after i got out of hospital.i've just never let anything stop me

before.until now.thanks again for listening.
