I think BPDs like to use drama (sometimes of their own creation) to

cross boundaries and see how far they can push people. You have

already told her not to call at that hour. But she told

herself " Well, this is different "

Just another selfish act -- and I think they get a thrill from

crossing a boundary and getting away with it.

Caller ID is invaluable when you've got people in your life who don't

respect boundaries. I use it all the time, even w/people I'd like to

talk to but just don't have time while cutting b-day cake and such.

My family and mine come first now days. If its vital, they can leave

a message.
