Guest guest
Hi all, When I talked to Dr. Kolb on the phone last weekend she said for me to take cipro 500mg 2x day for 14 days and diflucan 200 mg day for 30 days and said somethng about liver function tests but I don't remember when I was supposed to get that done. My dilemma is that I can't really afford to get the meds or liver test right now on the rest of the month's budget and I go to see her on dec. 1. I'm afraid she'll get angry with me and won't want to treat me because I haven't followed through on this. Getting hold of my family doctor during the holidays won't be easy either so it'd be monday the 28th at the earliest that I could even hope to contact him and it usually takes more than 1 day of calling to get any response and that's even when it isn't busy. She didn't directly prescribe the meds she said just have my family doctor do it and have him call her if he had any questions.I just don't know where the money will come from to do all this and I'm afraid I'll end up having to keep the implants no matter what because I can't do everything the Dr.dictates. I can't afford a lot of expensive detoxing either. Plenty of people say well you brought this on yourself and they're right,I did but I didn't go into this 10 yrs ago knowing what I know now.If I did, I wouldn't have ever gotten implants of any kind.Anyway, for those of you who've been to Dr. Kolb, will she blast me for waiting until I see her before taking any meds.I'd think they'd do a blood test first to check for infection efore giving such expensive, heavy-duty meds anyway. On another note, I'm having trouble finding my way around the group messages. I chose to just go to the group website to read the messages and the first thing I usually do is look for new messages and responses to my messages but I feel like I'm lost in a sea. I can't really tell which ones I've read and which ones I haven't and I have to wade through a lot of posts to catch responses to mine.Is there an easier way to do this without sending all those daily emails to my own inbox?
