Guest guest
I don't see how they could be for those who are prone to react to silicone through a hyperactive immune response. I believe that I reacted to the silicone shell of my saline implants, so it didn't matter that mine didn't leak...it was just, probably, the presence of silicone, plain and simple. --- In , " Molly Bloom " <mollyb54@b...> wrote: > > I wonder if these are any safer... > --- In , Rogene S <saxony01@y...> wrote: > > > > It's obvious there is a very thin line between > > advertising and news! > > > > Isn't it amazing how they don't admit to problems from > > the old implants until the " new " ones come out? > > > > Ladies - We have a lot more work to do! > > > > Hugs, > > > > Rogene > > > > -------------------------------- > > > > > > Revolutionary " Silicone Gel " Implants Hopeful for FDA > > Approval in `06 > > > > New breast implants provide optimal shape, deter > > leakage and minimize complications. > > > > (PRWEB) December 22, 2005 -- Silicone gel implants > > were removed from the US market in 1993 after concerns > > they could leak, rupture and cause health related > > issues. Guest guest
You are probably right. I sure wouldn't trust them. I will NEVER get implants again. They took way too high a toll on my health. > > > > > > It's obvious there is a very thin line between > > > advertising and news! > > > > > > Isn't it amazing how they don't admit to problems from > > > the old implants until the " new " ones come out? > > > > > > Ladies - We have a lot more work to do! > > > > > > Hugs, > > > > > > Rogene > > > > > > -------------------------------- > > > > > > > > > Revolutionary " Silicone Gel " Implants Hopeful for FDA > > > Approval in `06 > > > > > > New breast implants provide optimal shape, deter > > > leakage and minimize complications. > > > > > > (PRWEB) December 22, 2005 -- Silicone gel implants > > > were removed from the US market in 1993 after concerns > > > they could leak, rupture and cause health related > > > issues. Guest guest
I was thinking the same thing. They're still putting silicone in the body, and the silicone shell made me sick, too. Guest guest
Excellent point, Rogene. What kind of shape will the implant be in years from implant? I still cannot believe the FDA would approve Mentor & Inamed silicone implants with only 2-3 years of testing. Only in this administration....sigh. > > > > > > > > > > It's obvious there is a very thin line between > > > > > advertising and news! > > > > > > > > > > Isn't it amazing how they don't admit to > > problems from > > > > > the old implants until the " new " ones come > > out? > > > > > > > > > > Ladies - We have a lot more work to do! > > > > > > > > > > Hugs, > > > > > > > > > > Rogene > > > > > > > > > > -------------------------------- > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Revolutionary " Silicone Gel " Implants Hopeful > > for FDA > > > > > Approval in `06 > > > > > > > > > > New breast implants provide optimal shape, > > deter > > > > > leakage and minimize complications. > > > > > > > > > > (PRWEB) December 22, 2005 -- Silicone gel > > implants > > > > > were removed from the US market in 1993 after > > concerns > > > > > they could leak, rupture and cause health > > related > > > > > issues.
