Re: Silica - Scleroderma websites and info

I took a look at that website. Everytime I feel sorry for myself, I

hear someone else's story. I really feel for those who had silicone

gel leak into their body. At least (we hope) we got rid of the

silicone with the implants. Though we still have to deal with the

effects of them, at least they are gone, and we can hope for

healing. For the women with leaking silicone it must be so hard to

have hope of recovery.

It also made me look at my toothpaste, which has silica. Thanks

Rogene.

Well, after I looked at my toothpaste, I checked the skin lotion I

just bought my husband for his rough hands - and yep, you guessed

it, silica! Today while I was Christmas shopping I picked up some

Burt's Bees lotion, and read the ingredients carefully and didn't

see anything funky.

Cherie, yes - the exams are done!! I still don't know all my

grades, though. They post them online and so far only all I know is

that my grade in Algebra was a B. I am impatiently waiting to see

how I fared in the other classes, especially Accounting.

I love Burt's Bees lotions! My husband bought me some Milk and

Honey and also a little bottle of the Carrot one.....which smells

kinda like cigars/tobacco. Weird. But what's even weirder is that

I eventually got to really like the smell and now I almost prefer it

to the Milk and Honey!

Good stuff. A little expensive, but worth it.
