Hello!

I'm a newbie to this list and also to BHRT at the tender age of 26. So here it

is in a nutshell

(of a large nut):

Took the bc pill for about 10 yrs (age 14-24, started due to severe cramps)

Had horrible PMS on the pill and what evolved into SEVERE CRAZY INSANE PMS when

i

stopped it (though my periods have always been like clockwork)

Discovered that not drinking coffee and taking a drop of my boyfriend's mom's

olive oil E

on the bad days helped with the PMS

Finally saw a doctor that sort of knows what she's talking about (though its a 4

hour drive

away) and discovered this:

day 8 estradiol: 36

day 20 estradiol: 75 progesterone: 8.2

and i think total testosterone was 17

yeah... sounds menopausal no?

so today i am taking 1 mg of E (though i was prescribed .25mg and she wanted to

put me

on biest and i said no thank you to the estriol)

and 2.5 T

and 0mg P (i was prescribed me 200mg P for my luteal phase and after trying out

25mg

and not being able to put on a bra b/c my nipples hurt so much I said to myself

hell no -

though i have not told her yet)

also I am on 25mcg T3 and 5mg cortisol in the morning.

I just started all this fairly recently so i have a lot of balancing to do ...

so far i am ok but i

often CRASH like a ton of bricks in the early afternoon and my last period was a

bit strange

- light bleed, no bleed, heavy bleed, no bleed, heavy bleed etc.. and it lasted

8 days. hm.

SO..... the question: does anyone know anything about women this young suffering

from

hypoovarian function? I am assuming that the bc pill caused this but i am not

sure and was

wondering if anyone else out there has any info for pre-pre-menopausal

ladies.... or can

someone's ovaries already start to decline in their 20's? I started menstruating

at age 11

but it still seems a little ridiculous. Vliet is the only lit i can find on

younger women's bhrt

(but she doesnt say too much) and the rest of the world seems to be in the dark.

i wonder

how many other women my age are having the same problems and would never think

to

check their hormones!

ok thats all folks.

thanks!
