Subject: FW: RX for post liver transplant patientsTo: "TxFinancialCoordinatorsegroups" <TxFinancialCoordinators >Date: Thursday, June 24, 2010, 3:21 PM Hello all! Scenario: I have a post liver transplant patient who is insured by Medi-Cal (Medicaid). He has a monthly SOC (share of cost) of $800 and it will go up to $1,515.00 in July. He won't be able to get his rx in July because he can't pay his share of cost. HELP!!! Are there any resources out there for patients with this issue? I already called http://www.goodlife resources. com and they only help patients with private insurance. I can't call http://www.needymed s.org/ because they don't take calls, but I did order some brochures about their programs. I am somewhat desperate because this patient is due for rx as of July 1st and we just don't know what to do for him. Any suggestions or resources would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!Jerusa Irad Jerusa Campos Financial Coordinator Abdominal Organ Transplant Program USC University Hospital 1510 San Pablo St Los Angeles, CA 90063 Ph#: Fx#: Pgr#: New email address: irad.campos@ health.usc. edu
