Guest guest
So glad it's over with and you are back home! Congratulations! Take care of yourself or let your husband take care of you! I don't remember a popping sensation, but being fresh out of surgery is fresh in my mind! Guest guest
Hi Ginger, Glad it's all behind you, now you can begin to heal. I remember those first few days after the surgery - I didn't find it as painful as getting the implants, but I can relate to the " loopy " feeling. Guest guest
Ginger . . . I've been thinking about you today, wondering if you were back home. . . Please let your hubby baby you for a little while. You'll be feeling better soon! I'm sure Dr. M. did a great job! It will take a little while to fluff, so don't stress over how flat you are now! Hugs and prayers, Rogene
Guest guest
Hi Ginger - I agree with Rogene, don't worry about how things might look physically right now. I'm 6 weeks post op and each day they're looking more and more like the natural me, and honestly I just love being small again. It suits my style. At first the muscles were indented but that's improving. Soon I'll be picking up some light weights and plan on exercising those muscles - how nice it'll be to do that without that distortion that came with my under the muscle implants. Guest guest
Congrats Ginger on your liberation! You must be relieved. I'm about 6 weeks post-op with Melmed and I'm seeing changes every day. Try to take it easy as much as you can(I know how hard it is to take that advice--I threw a Solstice party for 50 last night and I'm wiped!) Guest guest
Thanks for the encouragement, everyone. It is getting better everyday. How long does the pec soreness last? It only bothers me when I raise myself up (slowly). I am trying NOT to use them. The rest is just a bruised feeling. I do feel liberated and I am so glad I made the decision. My friends are saying that I look much better without them. I will post the pictures soon. I don't have any before pictures, but Dr. Melmed does!!!!! I'm looking forward to go to sleep in any position I want to without the rocks poking into me!!!! --- In , " auntsisnj " <auntsisnj@l...> wrote: > > Hi Ginger - I agree with Rogene, don't worry about how things might > look physically right now. Guest guest
Hi Ginger, I definitely could not stand sleeping with the implants. For months I had to lay on my side with a pillow under my one arm. Now that the implants are out, I sleep however I want. I even woke up on my stomach one morning and was so excited!!
