Guest guest
Sherry, you are so inspirational! I may try to do a fasting sometime soon. Makes total sense! Thanks for all the good info. I think I’m going to try fasting some over spring break. One site I was looking at talked about a continual fasting pattern where you fast every other day. It said it forces the liver to convert the glycogen into glucose during the fasting day and it becomes easier for the liver to flip flop, thus keeping sugar levels more steady and improving insulin response as well. I’m thinking one day without water then drinking lots the next and so on would really help to cleanse our cells as well due to osmosis. As the cells dehydrate the water leaves, taking with it some of the nasties. Then when we rehydrate it’s good clean water going in. We are on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and eliminate everything unnatural including MSG (aka natural flavor). Plus we include some of Dr. Usman’s biofilm protocol. So on the days I do eat, I’d be eating very healthy (and lots of it, lol). I think this kind of fasting would enable me to still keep a handle on life since I have the kids to care for and such. I know sometimes when people fast they have bad die-off reactions and I certainly don’t want to take things out on them. So does this sound like a good plan?
