Guest guest
Hi Cosima The same PS that put my implants in 8 1/2 years ago performed the surgery to take them out. Though he didn't say for sure that saline implants were making women sick, he did agree that some women could have reactions to the implants, and that it was possible that women were getting sick from them. He agreed that I was doing the right thing by getting them out. My experience with the doctor and his office staff was excellent, and the cost for me was less than $3,000. Even the hospital was professional and the staff experienced and kind. I was an AA to a B with implants, then now to an A post explant. He didn't think a lift should be done until down the road - to see if it's necessary. My breasts still need to " fluff " , but I don't think a lift will be necessary. He did a total capsulectomy just as he said (I got a copy of the Path report to prove that). He has a reputation in our local hospitals as not only being a good PS, but a kind one. You definitely get the feeling that he wants to help you by not overcharging. I don't know where you live, but I live in a suburb of Philadelphia (Aston). I haven't yet, but am going to post the doctor's information now in the database. This sounds crazy, but if you would like to meet with him, I live in this great big house, and would be happy to help you by giving you a place to stay. (That was my husband's suggestion by the way - he's very supportive). I hope you are feeling encouraged by the girls at this site, and I hope you know that we are all praying for you.
