Gracie,

So sorry to hear about Ed's problem with the new meds. I hope and pray that things will settle down soon. I will be keeping you both in my prayers.

Gracie,

Have you called the Social Security

office and asked for a print out of how much Ed would get if he went on

disability? Perhaps if he saw in

black and white the amount the check would be, he could relax a bit. The 2 of you could sit down and do a

budget with that amount and see if you can make it.

on

disability, but, financially it would really hurt us.

I rarely if ever drink diet soda now. I use non carbonated flavored

bottled waters instead. But there are times that my stomach is just so

upset the only thing that seems to help is the syrup in those sodas. A

couple days after I came home from surgery I was so sick- and my mom put

a diet soda in the blender till she got the bubbles out. A few sips and

the ill feeling passed almost immediately. Just passing along that

advice just in case. I know how terrible I can feel sometimes, that

seems to be one of the things that helps me recover. That and the GAS X

tablets you can chew.
