Guest guest
Hi, If it is in the cartilage around the bones? If so, check out costochondritis on the net. Very much related to implants, many women have reported it. And it can become very bad for some. Removal almost always helps, but can take time if it gets bad. Guest guest
Hi - my pain is in my sternum too, though a bit higher. Had it for over five years. Very painful to touch, breath, or move my arms in any direction. I was very inflamed, and CT scan showed sternoclavicular arthritis. I believe it was from my implants, which I had explanted in October. Though the pain isn't gone yet, it's a lot better. Are you working on scheduling explant? Guest guest
irene, do your breasts touch in the middle over your breast bone like there is little or no space between them? if so, you could have symmastia, where the chest muscle is over disected by the surgeon. they can repair that during explant. I have a mild case of it. there are pictures of this condition on the internet and also on shutterfly-the place where our group keeps pictures submitted by group members. mine is on there as well, under my name Cosima. --- In , " irene1cass " <irene1cass@y...> wrote: > > Hi! Guest guest
No...I haven't scheduled anything yet...have just been trying to ignore any symptoms and get on with life, but every time I get a new symptom or it continues, I come right back to your chat group. It is almost reassuring when I hear you mention the same things I have been going through. The pain in the armpit, heavy breathing at timnes...oh so familiar. I am once again going to try to locate a doctor in the Philly area (thought I saw someone who had her explant done in PA.). Anyone out there? > > > > Hi! Haven't written in a while. Guest guest
Hi Irene - Cherie (who responded to your post below) lives in the Philly area and had her implants removed by someone local. I'm sure she'll be able to give you more information on her doctor. Sis > > > > > > Hi! Haven't written in a while. Have been ignoring any aches or > > > pains. Guest guest
Irene - I think that is the right name? I live near Philadelphia and just had surgery in October. I live in Aston - where are you? Cherie > > > > > > Hi! Haven't written in a while. Have been ignoring any aches or > > > pains.
