Guest guest
Hi All - got away from the studying for a few hours to enjoy a little family time with the in-laws. Not feeling too great and even though I'm trying to remain positive, I just feel scared that I'll never be back to normal. I know without a doubt that the implants are to blame, so I'm not waiting for validation from my body that it wasn't the problem, it's just so discouraging some days. On our way home from my sister-in-law's I told my husband that next year at this time, I will be feeling great and I'll be working at my dream job, making great money. Just trying to think positive when the fears start rolling in. I've been studying again for the past few hours, even though my husband is entertaining a few buddies in the kitchen where I'm studying, it doesn't seem to disturb my concentration - it actually seems to help. Feels a little less isolating. Anyway, I'm babbling, but I guess I just needed to babble!! Sis
Guest guest
Sis You aren't babbling, well maybe a little, but it's cool. Don't get too discouraged. I was feeling that way two weeks ago, but now am feeling a lot better. Not pain free - but so much better. I wouldn't doubt if the stress from exams is causing you discomfort. When will your exams be done? Hang in there, and baby yourself. When you get past these exams, I still want to get together. You are very encouraging to everyone who signs on, and I hope we can do the same for you. I think that we are going to go back and forth with our health for a while. The cold weather and short days are getting to me too. I started thinking about the upcoming summer vacations, and that seemed to cheer me up. Now I'm babbling! Guest guest
Cherie - thanks. I'll be finished with exams on Wednesday, I have 1 tomorrow, 2 Tuesday, 1 Wednesday - then I'm free to do the last minute Christmas shopping that I've put off!! After that, let the good times roll - at least for a few weeks until the next semester. Maybe we can get together during my school break. We'll have to check our calendars.
