Since she did well on her week of Armour and headache is a hypo symptom, I'd bet that the nutrameds just doesn't have enough for her. She NEEDS the Armour or thyroid-s.Deborah

I found out my daughter, since taking my Armour by mistake, is now hiding her Nutri-Meds in the couch and not taking them. She said they give her a headache (that took a lot of whining, crying and coaxing to get her to tell me that!)

Has anyone else had that reaction? Any idea what may be causing it? She was sick yesterday with a fever and a headache. Wonder if it was a reaction to the NutriMeds I got her to take on Sunday?

My kiddo did this last year, too.

It's possible that her headache is from dropping back from the Armour...

I forget if you've tested your DD's adrenals, ? -Maybe it wasn't the wrong list in a cosmic kind of way LOL!

LOL! Well, no I haven't had her tested. I would like to do the Canary Club, but its hard with school WAIT! Shes out of school next week! Perhaps I can order and get the kit here now, in time to do it next week? I think I'll do this. I think I'll also do the flashlight thing a little later on. I had to pick her up at school because her headache came back. I thought of that, this morning, pulling her off the Armour perhaps causing it. But the school nruse also said there is a headache "thing" going around the school, so that may be it, too. She is talkative, and not acting "sick", just laying down a lot because her head pounds, and she's not really eating too much, which may not be helping the headache, either. She is hypoglycemic (like me), so perhaps it is adrenals. Poor kid, how can your adrenals be bad at 9 years of age? geez.....

Off to order CC.....

, headaches are a good indicator, in me, of low thyroid/low adrenals. On some of the biomed lists for kids - it is commone for very young kids to need adrenal support. My DD had very serious adrenal fatigue at 11 and, I'm certain, much much younger, I just didn't understand, yet. I'm certain that the asthma epidemic in children points to adrenal stress, among other things...

The stress that these kids are under metabolically, socially, educationally, really takes a severe toll on their already compromised adrenals. IMHO adrenal stress is pervasive in children, these days.

You might try a gob of H/C cream rubbed over a large area of her skin - see if that alleviates the headache...Don't forget that Batmangelidj, the author of Your Body's Many Cries For Water, alleviated headaches with two glasses of water. Many times they are from dehydration which is controlled (along with sodium/potassium balance) by adrenal hormones.

How about trying some snacks that can be dipped into sea salt? like celery sticks, or what your family likes, and couple of glasses of water?

Your daughter is very lucky that you are looking into how this can really be healed and not just suppressed with money-making-meds that don't heal.

BTW -- she's also been craving orange juice. The sugar? or the Vit. C? Hmmmm......

Looking back, I think mine have been bad my entire life (hindsight

being 20/20 and all). It great that you're catching this early so

maybe she won't end up needing boards like this later in life.
