Guest guest
Hi all Had an intimate chat with my dh yesterday and he expressed a 'dissatisfaction' for lack of a better term, with me not wanting to leave the house and him going to the store or out alone. We used to do it all together. The thng is, when I feel threatened or overwhelmed, see below, I withdraw and tuck myself into a safe comfortable routine in my home. I love my home, it's my safe haven. And I don't want to go anywhere, tho I do what I have to alright. I just don't want to go anywhere I don't have to. And my dh is partially disabled from a stroke at age 37 and feels more at ease with me at his side when he goes out. So, he complained, I explained, and we agreed to go to a store to make a Xmas return (!!) today. One thing, just one. I can handle one thing........Thanks for listening and being there....I'll sign off here for those of you too tired to read the rest.....Hugs, Judy in AZ I have several conflicts on my plate: 1) My pvt disability (thank God for it) has moved me from physical disability to 'behavioural health', because it would be a whole lot easier for them to terminate my claim from the head rather than the body! I've mulled this for a couple of months and this week engaged an attorney from my other life (pre-FMS), to review the case and fix this. 2) My daughter is 17.....need I say more? she's a good kid but it's up and down daily or hourly..... 3) My DH is being harrassed by collectors on an invalid matter and we can't seem to get a human to review the facts and circumstances and say " Oh I See.. " ; again, I engaged the same atty mentioned before this week. 4) My DH's oldest daughter 19 married w/ 2 toddlers, had marital problems all week, in fact it looked like divorce on Wed. Things have resolved temporarily....and she's in Maine which makes us feel so helpless. 5)And the computer took a complete dive and I had to clean and restore everything last week.......RECOMMENDATION: Everyone get a current antivirus package (Norton is best I think) and check your pc then monitor everything. And if you can back up data you wouldn't want lost, like my banking registers .....ARGHHH.......which I am in the process of reconstructing.
