paste my reply to her below, thinking the information might be helpful for some

in this group. She basically has two questions:

incense with the singles Lavender and incense.

observation and experience on this. I however have used both Sandalwood (aides

in DNA regeneration) and Cedarwood (promoting melatonin production) together on

myself. They give me a feeling of restfulness and better mental clarity. These

are other ingredients in Brain Power:

it can cause irritations to the skin for those with skin sensitivity. Diffusion

will be a better application than topical use, when it is a single. It can be

taken orally. This oil makes fine blends with incense and Lavender,

meaning that they can work synergistically.

> - Blue Cypress: anti-septic; traditionally used to assist blood clotting. I

actually don't know its role in this particular blend. Because it is also

diuretic (promoting urine excretion) and sudorific (promoting sweat excretion),

I am guessing that it aids detox.

> - Helichrysum: It is actually mucolytic - is capable of cleaning up

bacterial biofilm in the gut. It is also cytophylactic that encourages

recycling of dead cells and production of new cells.

mainly because I do not have the experience in order to comment on it.

> Peace and Calming can be diffused at home so that everyone in your house can

be benefited. I don't know how old your NT daughter is. If you trust her to

administrate the oil on her own, I would just give her a bottle of Peace and

Calming and tell her that it is her personal smelling bottle. Ask her to

describe her feelings for those instances when she would feel stressed and

frustrated. Let her know that she can feel free to apply one drop on herself or

smell the bottle, when she feels that she needs that to calm herself down. I

believe that she will learn to be aware of her own feelings and learn to have a

control and how to deal with them, and becomes more confident overtime.

> I have done quite a bit of research on the phytochemistry of different oils in

order to decide on the oils for my ASD 7-year-old and NT 4-year-old. But in the

end it really comes down to emotional, spiritual practices. I continue to be

bookish in choosing the oils for my ASD child. But for my NT child, I just

shuffle a bunch of different bottles of oils both singles and blends in front of

him, and ask him to open the bottles to smell them and tell me which one he

likes. I then massage him with the one he chooses.
