Hi Ginger . . .

I'm in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas . . . If you'd

like to talk to me, send me a personal message with

phone number.

You're not nuts! . . . The plastic surgeons who refuse

to remove implants right are! . . . They like to say

implants aren't the problem, then by not removing them

correctly want to believe they proved their point! . .

..

Removing the right is key to getting better!

In the meantime, getting your diet in order is

essential. Eliminate sugar . . . a lot of the problems

you're having sound like they may be stemming from a

systemic fungal problem. Sugar feeds fungus! Also,

eliminate processed foods and refined grains . . .

You're on the right track . . . BTW, welcome to

! . . . We'll all celebrate when you're

feeling much better!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

Hi Ginger

I am so glad that you found our group. I know how thankful I was

when I found this group four years ago! I was thinking my implants

were making me sick, and like you, the doctors said that couldn't

be. Worse, they insisted my symptoms were all stress related. I

knew better. This is a great group for advice and support. Who is

doing your explant? Is it Dr. Melmed? He definitely believes in

implants causing illness. I think you are too close to surgery to

get a cortisone shot. Since it depresses your immune system, I am

not sure that is a good idea. YOu might try oil of oregano on your

hives. I take it internally and read on a website about using it

for hives externally. It might be worth a try.

Hugs, kathy

Ginger,

Congrats on taking the next step! If you're seeing Melmed(I assume you are since you're going to Dallas) he's great. I explanted with him two weeks ago. Bring a list of questions with you to the consult,as he's got a strong personality and it's easy to forget what you meant to ask. The first thing he did when I met him was show me a list of symptoms and ask me how many I had--I had about 90% of them. When he told me I would definitely get better after the implants were removed, I burst into tears. He was the first doctor to say anything positive to me in a year of being terribly sick. You're in good hands!

New to the group. Hives question

Hi. My name is Ginger and I have finally figured out that the cause of all my medical issues are the implants. I thank God for all of you for educating me on saline implants. I was implanted 3 years ago (almost exactly) and my body reacted for the first time 1 1/2 months after surgery with the hives. I had never had them before in my life! I also have suffered from horrendous mouth ulcers, papular eczema (a generic term for wierd rash!) and now my sinus's are constantly infected and I can't seem to get better. Also, my nails have ridges. I seem to be falling apart with one issue after another. I have scheduled my removal in 3 and 1/2 week in Dallas. I talked to my ps (in Arkansas) yesterday and he made me feel like I was losing my mind. He said implants are not the cause of my sickness and that the information I was finding out on the internet was false. I have prayed about this for months and I know better. He offered to do the surgery at a very low cost (guilt?), but not the way any of you have described it should be.He would not put in drains, he would deflate them before removal and so forth. Today, I have broken out in hives (again). In the past I have gotten cortisone shots to suppress my immune response. Should I get another to get me through? Does anyone have any suggestions? With Thanksgiving and Christmas around the corner I have so much to do (3 kids, husband). Your advice would be greatly appreciated.
