Guest guest
Kathy - wow - that's a lot of good advice. I thought I was doing the right thing by following doc's instructions, but kept feeling worse - pain has never been so bad. Thank you so much. I'm going to stop the supplements and order the primal defense. I'll keep going on the water and my juicing though and see what happens. When was your explant, and how long did it take your symptoms to improve? Cherie > > > > > > I wonder about the legitimacy of muscle testing too, but when you > > are desperate for help, who knows? Guest guest
Cherie I was explanted four years ago. I started improving on some things within weeks. For example, my terrible brain fog symptoms left very rapidly. I was feeling pretty good within a month, but wanted to detox and make sure that I kept improving and that symptoms didnt come back. That is when I noticed that I would have a herx or " cleansing reaction to just about everything. Often I would have an initial positive reaction to something, but as I continued to take it and it built up in my body, then all of a sudden pain would come back and increase. Other supplements or detoxes would produce an immediate increase in symptoms. Detox baths would make me feel better right away, and then hours later I would get in terrible pain. I remember doing a clay detox bath and feeling great afterward. But hours later, while I was at a church activity, I developed severe pain in my body and felt like I could barely hobble home. I also used to develop severe headaches from the bad herxes. I often bought supplements and quit taking them when I realized I couldn't tolerate the smallest amounts. Primal defense is one thing that I always had a very tolerable reaction to. Also oil of oregano. But olive leaf extract gave me severe herxes. Vitamin C in high doses--the powdered kind--gives some people relief from pain. It did work for me. OLive oil and lemon juice mixed together can also help with pain. It helps the liver detox. That also worked well for me. I really think that one of the biggest mistakes we can make is to try and take too many things at once. Doctors often don't realize that we are as toxic as we are, and they are eager to get us better by trying us on all these things they think are good for you. And it isn't that they aren't good for you, it is just that you might not be able to tolerate them. I took flax seed oil for weeks in very small amounts and it seemed fine. I worked up to 1 tbsp a day mixed in cottage cheese. But then all of a sudden I started having pain all over my body. Three or four days after going off of it, the pain started subsiding. I really think a good first approach is to change our diet. Alkalinizing your diet will help your body unload toxins. And interesting enough, garlic and onions are both very alkalinizing and both kill all kinds of pathogens. I eat them regularly now. But I had become unable to tolerate garlic in any amount until I did a liver cleanse. It was incredible that one cleanse caused me to tolerate garlic, onions and peppers again. I am a believer of liver cleanses now! Most of us have just had to kind of try things to figure out what helps and what doesn't. There is no guaranteed formula that will apply to everyone. Getting your implants out was an important first step. Have faith that you can encourage your body to heal itself, but it may take many steps forwards and backwards until it does. Guest guest
You are all so wonderful. You are so right by taking those steps forward and backward - I intially felt so good, but then started all these supplements and then felt like I was getting worse instead of better and was feeling so discouraged. But you have all taken so much of your time to help me. I can't believe how much I am learning about detoxing and nutrition and herxing, etc. Thanks A LOT Cherie > > > > > > > > > > Cherie, when you are very toxic it is normal to feel worse > > after > > > a > > > > > massage or adjustment because the manipulation releases > those > > > > toxins > > > > > into your body. Guest guest
I haven't started any detoxing just yet, which probably explains why I'm still getting the throbbing headaches and the joint pain. I have noticed that the pain in my teeth seems to have gone away (knock on wood) and I haven't had numb fingertips since the explant. It's been tough because I'm in school full time, and then I've got homework at night, and I'm also pretty weak still from surgery 2 weeks ago. Most days I drink alot of water, but I haven't taken any epsom salts baths yet, and I still need to order primal and fungal defense. I do have oil of oregano on hand, I bought it before I even knew it was good for implant sickness. I am also extremely sensitive to supplements, when I still had the implants I decided to try some and after a few weeks of taking them, the symptoms all got really bad. I've been eating alot of raw vegetables. Also, the anxiety that I had pre-explant has gotten worse post explant (and I think that's because my body was weak to begin with, and the explant surgery made it weaker) - and I hate to admit this but I'm taking Xanax right now because the anxiety is pretty intense. Guest guest
Sis, Anxiety is challenging, and understandable given all you've gone through. I went through a bad period with an anxiety disorder so I know how debilitating it can be. There are some good alternative remedies for anxiety that you might want to try. Rescue Remedy is a homeopathic remedy that works pretty good. I-Theanine is an amino acid taken from green tea that works good, too, and has no side effects. There are also herbs that help-- skullcap, lemon balm, passion flower, california poppy, and valerian. I make a tincture from the above herbs (minus the valerian) that I call "Chill Out Elixir." If you want to try it, send me your address and I'll send you a bottle. I have tons! Have you tried meditation? I know it's hard to fit everything in, but it REALLY helps reprogram your body/mind relaxation response. I think as you continue to heal you will feel less and less anxious. Guest guest
Is it Sis? I just ordered my Primal and Fungal defense. Thought you'd like to know: Someone recommended a web site " appleadayandbeyond " - so I looked it up and ordered from them, but here's the deal, you need to CALL them for the lowest price. Their literature says they are under some sort of fair trade agreement that prohibits them from advertizing less than 31% off retail, but if you call them and tell them what you want they will give you 41% and it is by far the best pricing I've found. Shipping is free, and you have the products in three days. Good luck. Guest guest
Thanks Melinda, I'd love to try anything that would help. I had this same type of anxiety about 20 years ago, and I did try herbs which helped it quite a bit. I just didn't remember what I tried - and some of the things you've mentioned sound familiar. I definitely would like something other than the Xanax. Another thing is since I got the implants my blood pressure went from low to high, and I'm hoping that when everything settles down in my body, the blood pressure will respond. I'll send you my address, I'd love to try the tincture - just let me know what I owe you $$ wise. Haven't tried meditation lately, although I have a relaxation tape that my counselor made for me when I was afraid of flying - maybe I'll try that over the weekend.
