Guest guest
Howdy all! I've been meaning to ask about B-12. I found some at my Walgreens but they are so tiny I just swallow them. Is there a benefit in putting them under the tongue that you don't get if you just swallow? (Sorry, if that is a stoopid question.) Just got back from the hospital support group meeting. We had a real skinny chef talking with us about ways to eat out successfully. One thing he recommended was ostrich steaks. Says they are very lean and as tasty as beef. Yesterday, I met an online friend for coffee at Starbucks, then today a work friend for lunch and after the group meeting spent an extra hour or so talking with another friend who is still trying to get approved. Beams for Jayni! We met each other in August and have both been working the insurance game since. I'm staying busy in my last week before surgery and enjoying everything. We may all have a bonfire party in a few months... Night all, Gracie
Guest guest
Gracie B-12 is only absorbed in certain ways in your body. A pill laying in your stomach is wasted. It will not be absorbed. The only way is 1. through injection. 2. " sublingual " pills that dissolve under your tongue. Bottle needs to say " sublingual " on it. I buy them at Walmart 2500 mcg by Rexall or 3. a nose spray you inhale. Everything else is just wasted. The ones under the tongue work the next day for me. I feel immediate difference in energy. I think I need to do them every other day or every day. The shot lasts about 2- 2 and 1/2 weeks for me then I start dragging and feeling worn out. Gracie T. wrote: > Howdy all! Guest guest
after surgery... you will not have the intrinsic factor that is made in the stomach that is what has b 12 b absorbed... so if you do not get the b 12 shots or the sub lingual( under the tongue) type of b 12 you are wasting your time and money . b 12 is water soluable so you can not over dose on it you pee out the excess also oyu can crash fast if you are not getting it in and b 12 defeciency causes non repairable neurologial damage. so its too easy to prevent a problem. hugsssssss and am counting down for you! ~peach~ > Howdy all!
