Guest guest
My fiance' brought over chocolate chip cookies. When it comes to chocolate, I can't say no, so sad, but true. The cookies are out of the house today so I'm back to being good again:) leigh fl > Hello, > > So, for some reason, I kind of fell/at least hung off the side of > the wagon over Labor Day. Guest guest
We used to have Monday confessions for awhile on this group. It's not uncommon to fall or hang off the wagon, but the important thing is that you get back on. You are doing that so congratulations! Guest guest
It was a close one folks, but I climbed back up. Yesterday I got in my 6 healthly meals and a cardio workout (although not in the morning, but I did follow the instructions to not eat for 3 hours before and 1 hour afterward). Today I got up early and made it into the gym before work and I have my meals packed and ready to go. Guest guest
> > > So, for some reason, I kind of fell/at least hung off the side > of > > > the wagon over Labor Day Heidi, it hit me later in the week. Me and my sister enjoyed our a free meal together on our free day saturday...so I should have been satisfied for the week, right? We had sweets during the meal, but I noticed even after the meal I continued to crave sweets. So come tuesday I had a family member upset me and also just got down about some circumstances in my life. In the past being upset equaled feeding my pain--so I did just that! I fought it, but the pain won. So both tuesday and wednesday I ate poorly. I think I just felt discouraged and wanted to feel better. But of course using food to feel better is NOT a healthy choice or even a good one. I kept telling myself my free day was just a few days away...but I couldn't seem to hold out for it. But today I'm picking myself up and eating " clean " again. I sure hope those two days didn't damage my progress too much...but I seem to gain weight easily so we'll see. I'm not gonna get discouraged...i'm just gonna try harder. But this isn't unusual for me. I tend to get discouraged, in one way or another, whenever I get to the sixth week of ANY diet! It just seems to happen over and over that way for me. I guess I just need to work through that roadblock and keep going. So don't feel alone Heidi, I fell off the wagon too! But I'm back on and sounds like you are too! That's what matters!!! Terry
