Guest guest
I just recently convinced my regular doctor to order cortisol tests but he would only do this through blood so I just received the results and am asking for your opinion: AM 12.9 PM 13.8; My doctor and compounding pharmacy have told me that these are normal and the pharmacy is justing sending me some over the counter adrenal support medicine. Just looking for another opinion? In addition I have always been anemic. I can't give blood to the american red cross because I have a low iron level. I have tried taking a supplement but it makes me very sick to my stomach. AFter having my thyroid checked my doctor prescribed Levothyroxine. I tried taking it but had high blood pressure and heart palps. Don't want to take it but need to convince him to prescribe armour. my question also is the fact that I was very low on progesterone (.4) possibly causing me to show hypothryoid. I have almost all the symptoms. I have been checking my basal temperature and it is usually 95.5. The highest it has been is 96.1. Even at the end of the day it is never 98.6. I am premenopausal at 52 yoa. I thought I was finished with it all but last week I had breakthrough bleeding after taking progesterone (50mg 2x day) for 10 days.
