Guest guest
When I started taking Isocort it had a good effect for a couple of weeks. Then I felt that I was getting weaker, and needed more and more Isocort to keep going. I started taking Thyroid S and started feeling much better - mentally, but no significant improvement on the energy front. I think when you start taking adrenal support it shows how weak your adrenals really are, and this may be exaggerated when you are taking T4 only meds. I have now started on Cortef, and I'm not sure whether this will be strong enough - I might need prednisolone. Sounds to me like you need proper adrenal support - Isocort is fine for mild to moderate adrenal fatigue, but when you are severely adrenally deficient it just doesn't cut it. Can you bring your doctor's appt forward? Don't know about the lesions ... good luck Nicola > > So much for last week, or this week, I don't remember when I was last > on here... Your body needs direct T3. You are not getting that in Levo. Why not ask your doctor for a trial of Armour Thyroid? If he/she won't do it (and MANY won't) we have places to order your own. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
Pamela, I don't know how to help you without the right meds to get well. I think till you either see your doc or decide to do it yourself you best bet is to cut back on the Levo. If it adrenal symptoms you are feeling this should help. Maybe at least make life bearable till you get in to see your doctor. -- Artistic Grooming * Hurricane, WV My Ebay Jewelry Store http://stores.ebay.com/valeriescrystalcreations The BEST thyroid website! http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Pamela, I couldn't say for sure that it is, but you may want to look into the possiblily of this being SHINGLES. Did you ever have chickenpox? If so, there is the chance that you may have developed shingles. You can do a google search and see if it sounds like what you have. If so, I think there is medication you can take to help aleviate the problem. My best friends mother had shingles, years ago, and I remember they told her that stress could bring it on. in OR > > Another thing which is embarrasing, but I have to ask. below my > waist... Guest guest
If it's shingles or any other form of herpes, l-lysine will help, along with vitamin E. Whatever it is, they may help.DeborahOn 3/31/06, nancy lewis wrote: Pamela, I couldn't say for sure that it is, but you may want to look into the possiblily of this being SHINGLES.
