Guest guest
Have any of you gone through changes in your cycle after explanting? I am always like clockwork and suddenly this month I am 6 days late. No, I am not pregnant. I can't have any more kids. I don't know if it would be from my physical activity or from my diet and supplement changes, or what. Its just highly unusual and has me a little concerned. I know it sounds messy, but there are a lot of women who love them. Seems like that'd be a great solution for someone who's sensitive to the chemicals. (The chemical sensitivity isn't at all surprising, BTW. Makes perfect sense.) in IN

You can buy better quality pads at the health store. Bee
Guest guest
hi janelle and all yes, it irritates me too, i think its just too much warmth and moistness! it aggravates external symptoms for me. if you want to try cloth pads, there is a u.s. company called *glad rags*. its a cool system, with a " pocket " in the crotch and inserts you can add for heavier days. its a pain to have to wash and re-use them (but very environmentally friendly!!). maybe they would be more breathable than even the best unbleached organic fiber pads. i used to have some glad rags years back. they are long since disappeared during many moves. i'm sure the company is still in biz. meanwhile, you can try washing & thoroughly drying affected area a few times a day if possible, and rub on some coconut oil. epsom salt baths also help. ~ suz > Janelle wrote: > > > > Hi girls. Guest guest
I can only use Always maxis, all other brands cause too much irritation. I also have a lot of itching around my period. It is not the pad as it starts before the period. I had thought it was yeast, but was told by a Dr. that it is actually from too much estrogen. It goes away by itself without treatment after my period. He said that I can't do anything unless I go on meds to regulate my hormones. Since I haven't found an alternative treatment that works for me I just suffer with it. Lou Ann
Guest guest
Dear Lou Ann, thank you for your post! I have the very same symptoms as you (excess itching before and during my poriod). I know that the candida affects hormones also, so it would follow that at a time of the month when hormones are fluctuating, one's syptoms would fluctuate as well. As I have worked to heal my candida overgrowth, the itching around my menses has also subsided somewhat. By that I mean, it is nowhere as intense as it used to be. So, I think there is hope of getting rid of it completely. At least I hope so! ) Thanks for sharing your experience, it makes sense and helps validate what we're going through. jackie > > I also have a lot of itching around my period.
