you are one of the wisest most honest women I have ever met.

I wish you well on your quest to health!

complexity of female identity and worthiness. As women, we are

constantly bombarded with societal messages, that to be appreciated we

must be beautiful in a narrowly proscribed way: we must be youthful,

with unlined, smooth skin, an hourglass figure, not an ounce of fat,

etc. It's difficult to focus on " inner beauty " when our culture

refuses to acknowledge how naturally beautiful we really are.

Some of us have found a way to love ourselves and our bodies as they

are, albeit after a vast amount of suffering. Others still feel the

pressure to alter their bodies to fit society's expectations,

something all of us can understand. After all, didn't most of us pay

exhorbitant fees to have some butcher cut us open and insert nasty

toxic aliens into our bodies? We were all forced to take the implants

out because we were sick, but how many of us can honestly say we would

have taken them out otherwise?

plastic surgery, but I can't say I will never use it again on my body.

And I do like make-up and artsy clothes, which are enhancements, just

like implants. I'm not a puritan.

towards every woman, regardless of her decisions. We have the

opportunity to set an example for other women, how to be beautiful in

a deep, passionate, soulful way.
