Guest guest
We just got back from our 2,400 r/t mile trek to see the best pediatric lyme doctor in the country. He agrees with the Igenex results indicating lyme, bartonella, and babesia. (The fairly local LLMD didn't believe the babesia FISH and only had our son on zithromax.) He prescribed mepron for the babesia, bactrim for the bartonella, and we will continue zithromax for the lyme for at least 4 months, athough he said it could take 4 to 5 years for some kids. Other than increased verbal stimming, the zithromax hasn't phased him much. When might we expect any changes to occur with mepron and bactrim? I know Caryn has mentioned to the group that her son's sound sensitivity went away with mepron. That would be a godsend for us. The sound sensitivity/covering ears/fear/anxiety issues drive us absolutely crazy! Thanks in advance,
