Guest guest Posted November 8, 2005 Report Share Posted November 8, 2005 Aubrey, I agree that our goal is to be supportive and I always get upset when I see posts that lean more toward confrontational tones. That is not what we are about. However, I wish you wouldn't be so quick to judge that we can't offer support, because the truth is that we have been the most successful breast implant support group ever, and for good reason....we've learned to deal with these issues in a healthy way. It is true that every once in awhile some petty stuff gets through, but for the most part, we've been very compassionate towards each other and willing to give and take where needed. We are not all cut from the same cloth...we have differences that we can learn to respect and tolerate, and I think we do that very well. Everyone will have an opinion on things, and I think for the most part, we've all been able to agree that we have suffered from the mistakes we've made in having plastic surgery. We just need to recognize when things are heading the wrong direction, and make a conscious effort to turn it around for the benefit of all here, and to get back on track with our main focus. I hope you don't leave and I do hope that you've been offered the help you've needed as you go through explant, but it is your choice, of course. You are the one to manage your membership...you are free to come and go as you please. Take care and God bless!
