Hmmm, $$$$$$$$$$$$

That's the only thing I can think of as an answer to that question.

Treating illness is big, big business. The only way to recoup their

investment for research, equipment, and education is to make sure we

need them. Do I sound cynical? I hope not. But what other answer is

there to the insanity in our medical system?

The only way they recoup the CEO's huge bonuses and multi-million dollar

salaries are to

make sure we need them.

It isn't, in my opinion, about research. It's about greed.
