It could be your child isn't metabolizing them once in his system. This is actually thought to be common in our children; they are not handling environmental toxins. The theory is that their digestion is impaired, not having all the amino acids available to metabolize these toxins. Also, a theory is that they already have too much of a burden in pathogens and toxins to be able to have resources left to metabolize environmental toxins.
