If you google benzoate and phenylacetate, you will be surprised at all the foods

and products these are in. It could be your child isn't metabolizing them once

in his system. This is actually thought to be common in our children; they are

not handling environmental toxins. The theory is that their digestion is

impaired, not having all the amino acids available to metabolize these toxins.

Also, a theory is that they already have too much of a burden in pathogens and

toxins to be able to have resources left to metabolize environmental toxins.
