Guest guest
Lesley That is great that you are a foster mom! That is very admirable. I don't know how you are able to do it when not feeling well. It is hard enough to raise children when they are our own and we feel well. My hat's off to you! Hope you are feeling better soon. hugs, kathy > > > > > > > > > > Dear Lesley, > > > > > > > > > > I am forever breaking my dettox, remember what I was eating > > when I > > > met you > > > > > in london, and sweet stuff is such a temptation especially > > > chocolate. Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I went to the food store, and luckily my sister had already arranged to do her shopping the same time as me. I got about halfway through the store and realized I bit off more than I could chew, and it wasn't of pineapple!! Anyway, my sister was finishing up her order at that point and then pushed my cart the rest of the way, loading the conveyor belt and putting the food into my car. Thank God she came with me!! So, now we're well-stocked on food, and I loaded up on veggies and fruit (and pineapple). I even ventured into the world of organic food - I picked up a few items that seemed to be comparable in price to similar non-organic items. Since my drains are out I'm feeling some aches that I'm sure are due to some minor swelling. Guest guest
Hi Rogene my foster children are 15 and 14 and my birth children are 13 15 17 and a stepdaughter of 8 ive sat them all down and they know whats going on they are very supportive as long as it doesnt involve them. when i first found out about my implants and other dangers they all wanted to make changes i told them we were not having any more arosol deoderants that worked for 1 week and they decided they didnt care if they were being poisened as long as they smell nice i still refuse to buy them any but they buy it themselves.in a ideal world i should be able to do this with there suger intake but they have freedom of chose and soical workers to make sure its there chose and not mine and to some people i just sound like a health freak.your right about them all being different theres 6 children here and no 2 are the same.love Lesley > > Lesley, > > How old are your foster kids? . . . Guest guest
I am glad that your sister was with you! It sure makes thing easier with support. Since my sister has implants and doesn't think they made me sick, I didn't really depend on her for much. To this day, we don't really talk about the implants. She thinks that I just had fibromyalgia and we have agreed to disagree. Glad to hear that you are wellstocked now, and that you snuck some organic purchases in there also. Healthy eating! Guest guest
Hi Kathy, It's hard to believe chocolate, in it's original state, tastes so bitter!! Amazing how much sugar is put in the chocolate we are accustomed to eating. It would be good added to a breakfast smoothie or perhaps a sauce of some sort. I have three bags of it, I will find a use for it, I will, I will! Kenda > > kenda > thanks for the update.
