Please, not "with" AS. Rather: *recognized as being* AS. That's the reality, however else the majority NT population chooses to view it.Rather than repeat what others have said already, I'll "second" , and Jennie whose stories seem most like my own. *Knowing* ( formal; five years ago) there are others like me has been nothing but a Positive experience.It saved my 40-year marriage - literally - as well as helping confirm to us both that my 68-yo wife is on the spectrum as well. And my mother, one son, daughter?, grandson and probably a great-grandson.- Bill, AS, 78; ...since evaluation NO downside.

Bill: would you not agree that the dynamics of a NS/AS marriage are different with different challenges? I applaud your success.
