Guest guest
Oh Jenna please do not feel that you need to hide your body while it is healing. I was worried and concerned about miyself and how my husband would react because he is a boob man, but I shared with him how I looked and how I felt and I encouraged him to look at me and get used to the new look scars and all. I can honestly say that it turned him on. He was so worried about me being ill and he was so concerned that I would have nothing left that seeing me when the bandages came off was a huge relief to him and he doesn't care that I am scarred. You have beautiful breasts and you should show them off proudly and BE SEXY for your husband even now. It will help you both in your healing journey. : ) hugs, > > Thanks Rogene, I agree. Guest guest
Thanks , the funny thing is I got my implants before my husband. He is NOT a boob man (he likes the bootie!) As i joke the other day I took my implants and put them in my sweatpants and asked him if he wanted me to get butt implants! hee hee. I think I have a few screws loose, anything to get a laugh is good with me. Anyhow he does love my new breasts, he is so supportive and comments how beautiful I look now. However, he is a BABY when it come to blood and scars! I showed him a part of my nipple just to see what he would do and I don't think he was ready for it! For now my bra is going to stay on until they get a little bit better. There is still some scabbing and the puckering is yucky, I don't mind the scars at all, the puckering on the other hand is bothering me, I know I shouldn't be ashamed of it! Sometimes I wish I wasn't so vain about my looks...then I would have never had this problem in the first place. Did you happen to see Good Morning America this morning? There was a special on Plastic Surgery gone wrong...crazy stuff! Anyhow, thank you so much for your kind words! I told him this surgery was good for him because it is preparing him for child birth! ha ha! PS. We are so lucky to have such wonderful husbands! > > > > > > Jenna, > > > > > > If it was me, I'd give my self at least six months > > > before thinking that what you see is the final result! > > > > > > I'm sure Dr. Kolb has seen enough that she know how > > > you will heal. . . Guest guest
Hi Jenna, I have been trying not to read the posts because I am finding that the more I read the more anxiety I get about theses damned implants. Not because of anything the mambers say...everyone here is great and very supportive.Just my anxiousness increases because mine are still in.I start obessessing a\bout getting them out and become pretty depressed. I did read about your concerns though and just wanted to say that I think there has been some improvement in the puckering since the immediate explant right?I of course know nothing but just thought it might help you to feel better knowing that I have noticed some improvement in the pics. Is there a possibility that the area around your nipples could stay permanently puckered?Have you noticed at least some improvement personally? You and your boobies are in my prayers...LOL...seriously though, KimJenna <jgalatis@...> wrote: Thanks , the funny thing is I got my implants before my husband. Guest guest
Hi Kim, LOL you are too funny. The idea of you keeping my boobies in your prayers just made me laugh so hard! Anyhow, they are getting better day by day. It has been only 3 weeks! Dr. Kolb keeps assuring me that they will fluff out until it is hardly noticable within the next couple of months. Of course because I am so impatient I just figured I would ask the other ladies if anything helped them along cream wise (also I haven't seen any pics with puckering as deep as mine so I began to worry). Dr. Kolb just said if for some reason it is permanent she can do a scar revision to fix it which is good news. Once again I don't think I will have to worry about that but the choice if there just in case. Many doctors end up doing a T-Scar lift to help reduce the puckering around the nipple. She did the lollipop lift with me which I actually perferred because I did not want the additional scaring. This puckering is a possible risk of the bellini (lollipop) lift. Mostly all of the women that I have spoken to said theres eventually went away so i am trying to stay positive. Please don't worry yourself anymore then you have to! Thanks for your concerns, and hang in there! You will be just fine and I will keep YOUR boobies in my prayers as well LOL! Keep us updated on everything!
