, do you have a neti pot? You can buy them at health food stores.

It's a little pot you will with warm water and a bit of very fine salt.

This will help clear the stuff out of your sinuses. It's great to use when

you are sick and as a preventative.

I feel your pain, I have a a gut infection that didn't respond to natural

antibiotics so I'm on Cipro right now for 10 days. Dr. Leu is having me

take double my acidophilus, ketoconazole and has added a product called

Florastor which is a sacchromyces boulardi, if I typed it right. :) I'm

taking double the dosage of it too -- it is a good yeast. He said a lot of

the good bacteria will be killed off from the antibiotic but this will give

me a bit more help. Of course we'll have to supplement more when we're off

the antibiotics. The pits ...

Hi ,

The neti pot is different, you use it IN your nose. It's like a teapot, you

stick one end in one nostril, and the water comes out the other nostril.

Then repeat on the other side. It cleans out your sinuses. If you have

discharge, you will actually see it rinse out of your nose. You can use it

several times per day.
