Guest guest
Hi Carol, I recommended Ultram, I'm glad to hear it worked for you! I used it first for fibro pain when I had it and was amazed at how much better I felt. Ultimately it stopped working for me because my liver was so congested. I used it again a few years later prior to knee surgery and it worked great again! My dog is even on it for degenerative arthritis of his elbow. It works wonders for him too, he is able to run agility without pain! Guest guest
Carol, I'm thrilled you are getting some relief! . . . Sometimes those pills are what it takes! If it's FM that's causing your pain (and it probably is), using the periods when you have relief to stretch the covering of your muscles, will help reduce your pain. With FM, the membrane that covers the muscle becomes very tight . . . making not only the muscle, but the joints hurt. If you can stretch this membrane, it will eventually relax. . . Yoga is great - so is theraputic massage. A physical therapist can show you stretches that will help too. FM goes hand in glove with a sleep problem. Of course, when you're hurting you can't sleep well, and when you can't sleep well, your muscles can't repair themselves while your sleeping . . . It's a viscious cycle! God Bless, Rogene Rogene
