-----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of p3c7rp6Hi all,After reading the r.living website and the interview w/Dr. Formby, I decided to go off the "protocol" along with the fact that I became highly allergic (as in rash, hives, swollen itchy eyes and stuffy air waves).I was only on for 2 wks and stopped on the prog. day and I thank God for that after reading everyones stories!!!My delimma is this: 45 yrs., massive hair loss as in over 50% all over and 75% in top!, *blood levels say: (Taken about a week before my period) e=5 and pro.= .6, and I think my doc siad almost no free pro. to be found (I need a copy of my tests) my adrenal was 20 pts. lower than normal...migranes, bloat, cry at the drop of the hat, totally ehausted all of the time, depressed, one doc said I had severe fibro symptoms, I can't sleep well, dry eye, and the list goes on.My gyn who had me go on the protocol tells me to see an endocranologist. When I ask her ques. about the protocol and changing it she just isn't too receptive and I get a lot of "I don't knows"! I do not know where to turn and what to do. I do know that the est. on the WP made me feel better and the pain in my joints went away-heck, I had a super clean house from my boosted energy levels!Where do I go, what do I do, who do I see? Now, I am so afraid to turn left or right when it comes to treatment and I have been to so many doctors and they basically tell me to deal with it I am middle aged!Any advice? Thanks for letting me vent, crud, here come the tears again!

Hi Lori or Lana? I had a terrible allergic reaction to the PCCA cream too, that is the base of the BHRT. When I asked Susie Wiley about my itching from head to toe, she told me to up my E, it only got worse. When I asked the pharmacy what was in the PCCA cream, I found out that there were all kinds of chemicals in it that I would not want to have in my body. Changing to olive oil E stopped the allergic reaction dead in its track. The Wiley people do not endorse the OO/E nor OO/P, say you cannot get good readings with them. I did not find that to be true. When on WP back last May or June I had a reading of E=647. OO/E may not work quite as "accurately" as the compounded cream hormones, but I am convinced it is better for your body. We find that doses between 5-12mg/day gets us the desired numbers like told you. You have to experiment to find

out how much you need. I am glad you got off the high doses E/P ala Wiley early on. Many of us have had problems finding a stable place since we stopped that protocol. Wiley does not tell women that there is no easy return from this protocol if you decide it is not for you. Even after a year I still do not feel I have stabilized to a level I am comfortable with. You are on the right track here and we will try to answer your questions as well as we can, but none of us have the ultimate answer for you. You are going to have to find your own sweet spot so to speak. Having said that I want to emphasize that most of us are quite fond of E and would not want to do without it and we are either anti, suspicious or very cautious with P. Keep firing away your questions. That is what we are here for to help people like you get better health with

Hi Lana - understood. But Lana, you are allergic to the base cream

which is what happened to a lot of us here on this site. It has

nothing to do with Wiley. Most base creams have terrible

ingredients. You have to ask for Olive Oil base or a " natural " base

cream.

I am so glad that I did some "Googling" around and found this group. After all, the Drs. in my area are really no help and my ins. company is starting to give me a difficult time about going to a lot of Drs. -not my fault that the drs. keep sending me to this one and that one...
