Guest guest
There is something called " jerky leg syndrome " and many with FMS seem to suffer from it, sad to say. Some friends of mine were in grant studies at town U. Teaching Hosp. in Washington, DC. They were injecting potassium or magnesium directly into their muscles. I'm pretty sure that dancers take magnesium and/or potassium supplements at bed time for leg cramps. anyone know which one it is??? Whichever one it is, it is supposed to help. Guest guest
Hi: Quinine 260 mg. stops mine dead. You have to have a script. Works for me. Joan Leg cramps? Has anyone here been stricken with deadly leg cramps. The kind that leave you lame for hours? I know it can be a sign of thyroid, and the hubby told me to go see the dr for tests, but I wonder if it is possible to be related to fibro? I don't get the deadlies often, a couple, maybe 4 times a year, however, I went through a long period where I was having minor ones in my calf nearly every day. The one that has striken me tonight, is of the deliest kind. I did the honey, apple cider vinagar, warm water thing, to no avail. Unfurtuantly, now I am going to have to go to the old stand by of muscle relaxers, a hot shower, and bed. I hate to rely on heavy drugs like that, but it really hurt!!!!!! All for now. Guest guest
In college, my dance teacher swore by bananas. Lots of bananas (which have potassium in them). They did seem to help. If you don't like bananas, gatorade helps too. Eve -----Original Message-----From: wandrinwoman01@...
